Wheels Keep on Turning

I've been feeling low the last few days. Sometimes life just feels too hard and this week it has been compounded by my car breaking down for the third time in the month I have had it, so I have had to cancel some of the "nurturing" things I had planned. I have to remind myself that there are worse things happening in the world, and with children to feed and ferry around and a dog to walk and play with, somehow the wheels keep on turning.

Taking time to water my garden slowly with a watering can instead of a hose is incredibly soothing.

And of course, there are moments like this to raise a smile.

  1. Not always easy to smile but that would do it :)

  2. My dog gives me a lot of comfort and smiles when times are tough. One look at his mischevious little face is enough to cheer me up instantly :)
Hope things start getting a little easier for you, sounds like a tough few weeks...

  3. Hi Dotty, thanks for stopping by my blog. Car trouble is such a down-er. Keep on watering your garden and finding ways to sooth your mind. Things will be better :)

  4. Aw I'm sorry to hear you're feeling low hon (((hugs))

Don't cancel your "nurturing" things though - can you plan some loevly things that don't require as much travel/money? We need nuturing the most when we're feeling fed up! x
